Like so many farms in Hadley, we were established by our Polish immigrant great grandparents. Our last name is "Kielbasa" and over the years our little farm has become known as Kielbasa Orchards.

Over four generations, the Kielbasa family has been growing tree fruit in the Amherst / Hadley area. We started out as the foreman of the larger commercial orchards in South Amherst. In the 1960's, two brothers each planted fruit trees on their land and shared the farm equipment. Their grandchildren grew up working on those orchards and manage the farms today.

We operate two orchards along Bay Rd. Our Amherst location is the source of all of the fruit we produce for retail sales. Our orchard in Hadley is where we operate pick your own and have a road side farm stand.
